We hiked Zippel Bay State Park on July 13th, 2023.
We started our hike by taking in the view of Lake of the Woods.
The trail began on the beach. We almost went back to the car to switch out our boots for flip flops.
Thankfully, boots were the right choice as the trail led inland for a bit.
We diverted from the trail and back to the beach. The soft waves gently whispered over the rocks.
It was interesting to come upon a hut. With no one home, we moved along.
The beach was scattered with shells.
The Coast Guards Lights at the Levee.
A beautiful view greeted us at Zippel Bay.
We turned around and hiked back to our starting point.
Once back at our starting point, we cooled our feet off in the Lake of the Woods.
Our hiking adventure was 1.5 miles.
