We hiked Amnicon Falls State Park July 10th, 2025.
It was a hot and steamy morning as our hiking adventure began along the Amnicon River. The sound of the river cascading down the rocks created a calming atmosphere.

We hiked a bit at this park. However, most of the time our eyes were on the river!

Amnicon Falls State Park has two historic covered bridges. The first covered bridge we approached was near Upper Falls.

They have an old stone staircase that offers a wonderful view of the Upper Falls.

Lower Falls, The Douglas Fault and the second covered bridge awaited us next. The view did not disappoint.

The layered rocks look so cool.

We not only crossed the historic covered bridge, we also went under the bridge!

Another beautiful stone staircase and view of Upper Falls.

We continued along the trail towards our third and final waterfall.

Snake Pit Falls

We briefly hiked away from the river taking in all the colorful wildflowers.

A few more views of the Amnicon River before we complete our hike.

Our hiking adventure was 1 mile.
