Today’s hiking adventure was along the Rice Creek North Regional Trail.
The sun was just beginning to rise as we began our adventure.

Lots of people were already out with their dogs enjoying the dog park. I always love seeing all the pups.
We hiked the paved trail taking in all the final moments of the fall colors.

My favorite part of the trail led us through a grove of tall pine trees.

Rice Creek

We looped around a beautiful wetland area.

We crossed over Rice Creek once again as we made our way back to our starting point.

Today’s hiking adventure was 5.5 miles.

A beautiful morning! The trees that have kept their leaves are beautiful, and the pines are too. Thanks for sharing an early November inviting, beautiful place to hike.

What a pretty autumn walk. The oranges and blues definitely complement each other.
